Why haven't I been fully reimbursed?
There are some situations when the transaction fee is held from the refunded amount in accordance with the Cancelation Policy which you can check on the following page: https://francerent.com/en/terms
Will I be refunded if I return the boat before the end of my rental period?
In certain situations, hosts will agree to refund you a portion of the amount paid. You will have to contact them directly and ask for this information.
Why has my payment been declined?
Usually, a payment gets declined if you don't have enough funds or if you've exceeded your daily payment limit. Please contact your bank to see the exact reason.
Is there a withdrawal period after a payment has been made on FranceRent?
To get fully reimbursed, you will have to check the cancellation policy from the booked service by going to the following page : www.francerent.com/en/trips and click on your reservation.
What payment methods are accepted by FranceRent.com?
We accept major credit/debit cards and Bank transfer on demand.
Can I rent a car if I do not have a credit card?
Yes. You can also rent a car using a debit card.
When do I have to pay? And how?
As soon as the host accepts your reservation request, you'll have up to 24 hours to confirm your reservation by paying it, otherwise, your request will expire. You can pay by credit/debit card or bank transfer on demand.
Can I pay the host directly?
FranceRent is a platform for connecting hosts and guests, transactions must be made on the platform to guarantee your security. If a host prompts you to pay him directly, refuse and alert FranceRent immediately, this may be an attempt at fraud, and you will not be insured for the reservation and get any refund.
How long does it take to process a refund request?
Once the refund has been confirmed by FranceRent Cancellation Service, the amount due will be paid within 7 working days.
Can I pay via Bank Transfer?
There are certain situations when FranceRent accepts payments via Bank Transfer. You will have to contact support if you want to pay by wire.
Can I have an invoice for my reservation?
France, as an intermediary is not authorised to issue an invoice, only proof of payment. This receipt is available on your FranceRent personal space under My account > Payment history > Expenses FranceRent's service is invoiced only to the host, and the guest is not entitled to recover VAT on it. Individual hosts are not allowed to issue invoices. Only hosts registered as a company are authorised to provide an invoice (article L443-1 of the French Commercial Code).
What is FranceRent's refund policy?
FranceRent doesn't have a refund policy. Usually, hosts have a refund policy and it's specified on the page of each service. Please make sure to check and read the terms before making a reservation.
